Titan PVP Build Destiny 2 D2

Build Setup – PvP Titan Build D2

Welcome to the PvP Titan Build for Destiny 2 D2. This build shows you a really good way to get your Titan on more Kills while longer survive. It has really good synergies with mods, exotics and weapons.

All these aspects make the PvP Titan Build for Destiny 2 build such good, a more detailed layout can be founded below in each build sections.

  • Very good Ability cooldowns
  • Works for Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner and Survival
  • Nice synergies with exotic armor
Overview Titan PVP Build Destiny 2 D2

Skill Tree – Titan Build D2

To be as dangerous as possible for the opponents, we use the Code of the Siegebreaker.

With this Titan subclass in Destiny 2 you create a sunspot with every grenade, melee or sun warrior kill. When you go through such a sunspot you get the buff Sun Warrior which reduces your cooldown of grenade and melee skill and increases your weapon damage.

In addition, each solar skill kill restores your health.

Synergies with exotic armour – Titan Build D2

For this build I can recommend two different Exotic armor pieces.

First we have the Synthoceps which give us additional melee range. Combined with a shotgun and the Sunbreaker melee, I find this awesome. You really pull up on the enemy and kill them with a solar skill which gives you health back and creates a deadly sunspot.

The other effect of Synthoceps is rather marginal because as soon as you are really surrounded by several opponents in PVP you are mostly dead anyway.

The other really strong PVP exotic for the Titan in Destiny 2 are the Dunemarchers. Even after the nerf they are still strong and do their job. They increase your sprint speed and charge up a static charge while sprinting which damages nearby enemies on the next melee hit.

The increased sprint speed is a very important factor. It decides if you can get around the corner before the kill shot hits you or how fast you are in the shotgun range.

Mods and Stats – Titan Build D2

For titans in general, I always recommend going for max resilience and recovery. In the best case 100 recovery 100 resilience 70 intellect and discipline as high as you can get. Why exactly tier 7 for intellect ?

Up to Tier 7 Intellect you get 23 seconds less cooldown per higher Intellect level. On Tier 8 but only 13 that is then such a small increase that it is almost no longer worth it to pay attention to it.

  • Recovery at Tier 10 Destiny 2 D2
  • Resilience at Tier 10 Destiny 2 D2

To get the maximum out of this build and at the same time play the best of the season I recommend the following mods:

Must-Have:

  • Taking Charge
  • Targeting Mods who matching your weapons (Helmet)
  • Unflinching Mods who matching your weapons (Chest)
  • High-Energy Fire
  • Impact Induction

Fill Up with:

  • Mobility / Recovery / Resilience Mods to get as near to 100 / 100 / 70 as possible. (I do not recommend using Intellect Mods since they need 5 Energy)
  • Powerful Friends (Arc)
  • Radiant Light (Arc)
  • Dexterity Mods who matching your weapons (Arms)
  • Scavenger Mods who matches your Special Weapon (Leg)
  • Bomber (Solar, Class Item)
  • Chest Mods Titan Build Destiny 2
  • Gauntlets Mods Titan Build Destiny 2
  • Helmet Mods Titan Build Destiny 2
  • Leg Mods Titan Build Destiny 2
  • Class Item Mods Titan Build Destiny 2

Playstyle – PVP Titan Build

The playstyle for the PVP Titan Build is aggressive. You are rewarded for risking something. Most of the time the goal is to do a little damage with the primary weapon and then finish with the shotgun or go straight in with the walking shotgun and then finish with the melee. After you have a kill with a solar ability and have the Sun Warrior buff, it is worth taking advantage of the short time and play even more aggressive because you have increased weapon damage.

Use the shield to secure zones by blocking corridors or to be able to look around corners. Combine the grenade with targeted pushing. Throw it at the left side of a cover and slide in from the right.

Recommended Weapons – PVP Titan Build Destiny 2 D2

Suggesting weapons for PVP is always difficult because it strongly depends on personal opinions. Here I show you what I like best and what I often encounter in Destiny 2 PVP.

Hawkmoon Handcannon Destiny 2 PVP

The Hawkmoon has become my favorite Handcannon due to its strong Aim Assist. It feels like you almost can’t miss. Best Perks for me are

  • Rangefinder
  • Opening Shot
Felwinters Lie PVP Shotgun Destiny 2

The Felwinters Lie is just incredibly consistent. She kills at a really good range. The only thing that is a bit weak is the handling.

Ascendancy PVP Destiny 2

For all those who use Destiny Item Manager I have put together the Build here in the link.

You can remove the unimportant mods on the left side and add your favorites.
