Titan support / survivability Build – Destiny 2 D2

Welcome to the Support / Survivability Titan Build for Season of the lost in Destiny2. Titans in Destiny2 are very helpful and one of the top tier supporter in the game. Sentinel Titans have very good support abilities such as WARD OF DAWN or DEFENSIVE STRIKE.

All these aspects make the this build such good, a more detailed layout can be founded below in each build sections.

Lets take a look at the Titan Build for best possible Support and Survivibility in Destiny2. Below you will find things like Skill Tree, Mods, Exotic Armour and Weapons, Synergies, Playstyle and recommended Weapons. These are all importent parts of the Titan survivibility Build.

For the best possible support and survivability we use code of the protector in this titan build. Mainly because of the WARD OF DAWN super which gives you and your allies 35% more weapon damage when passed trough. Its also a great panic button when things get messy. The DEFENSIVE STRIKE keeps you alive and in the best case it also give your teammates an overshield. With FALLYING FORCE you will stay alife aslong youre able to kill enemys with your melee ability.

I highly recommend the TOWERING BARRICADE for best possible survivability with this Titan Build. The enemys are more less able to hit you.

The movement mode can be selected at will. The HIGH LIFT works best for me.

For this titan build works either the VOIDWALL GRENADE for crowdcontroll or the MAGNETIC GRENADE for single target damage.

The HELM OF THE SAINT-14 has very good synergies with this titan build. The overshield you gain when you leave the WARD OF DOWN is very helpful to deal more stressfree damage to a boss or champion. It can also be very helpful to survive against meelee opponents because of the blinding inside the WARD OF DAWN. So your teammates gain a overshield and a 35% damage buff when they leave the bubble. Thats a damn good support isnt?

Helmet Mods

• Fusion Rifle Ammo Finder
• Global Reach
• Intellect Mod (chose whats fit best for you)

Explanation:

Although global reach has been nerved it is still a very good option for quick clearing. And because Fusion Rifle is in such a god spot at the moment we want ammo finder to be sure we have always ammo with our Titan Build too kill majors fast and do best damage on bosses.

Gauntlets Mods

• Fusion Rifle Loader (Artifact mod)
• Supercharged
• Minor Recovery Mod (chose whats fit best for you)

Explanation:

One slot is intentionally left empty. Here you insert the appropriate mod depending on which champions you have to defeat. for example overload bow.

The fusions rifle loader mod from the artifact is a must have because it only uses 1 energy but is super useful. We use supercharged here to collect as many stacks of charged of light as possible which will give our Titan build a lot of survivability.

Chest Mods

• Sniper Damage Resistent
• Concussive dampener
• Protective Light
• Intellect Mod (chose whats fit best for you)

Explanation:

The first two mods depend a bit on the activity. Sometimes it can be useful to play Void Resistance. But it always surprises me how few people use Concussive Dampener. It’s such a good mod because there is so much splash damage in destiny2. (for example the arkus projectiles from the knight or the annoying fire from the taken knights)
Protective light is the best mod when it comes to survival and therefore indispensable for our titan build. Thats also the reason why we stack up all these chraged with light mods.

Leg Mods

• Recuperation
• Fusion Scavenger
• Charged Up
• Recovery Mod (chose whats fit best for you)

Explanation:

Recuperation is used because we constantly generate orbs of power through our mastered weapons and thus constantly give us a little bit of life back. Optimal for our destiny 2 titan build for survivability.
The Fusions Scavenger is awesome because it is two mods in one and very handy when you play a fusions rifle in the special slot and a linear fusions rifle in the heavy slot.
Charged up is used again for gain as many stacks of charged with light as possible.

Class Item Mods

• Particle Deconstruction
• Taking Charge

Explanation:

Particle desonstruction is the best mod in the season it turns any fusion rifle into a boss/major melter. It turns our otherwise survival focused Destiny 2 titan build into a real dps monster after all.
The taking charge mod will give us massive stacks of charged of light from the orbs of power we generate with kills from masterpiece weapons and activate supers

For our titan build for best possible suvivability and group support, different loudouts are well suited. Depending on the activity, I recommend other weapons. Below I have listed various loadouts for general PvE activities. Depending on how far you have already progressed in the game. Specific raid or grandmaster setups can be found here.

With this setup I recommend not to play too aggressive. Rather pay attention to the right moment to be able to unleash the super to prevent a wipe. Protect yourself with the TOWERING BARRIKADE and throw the grenade as often as possible. It can also be useful to shoot a smaller enemy only low and then defeat him with the melee. Then you get the overshield and can play aggressive for a short time or attack a major.
