Overview of Burst Damage Titan Build Destiny 2

Skill Tree – Titan Build D2

For the best possible Burst Damage we use Code of the Missile in this Titan Build for Destiny 2. Mainly because of the THUNDERCRASH Super which becomes a Burst Damage Monster with the matching Exotic Armor. With each Super you can easily finish off a Champion or take the Boss to the next phase.

I highly recommend the TOWERING BARRICADE for best possible survivability with this Titan Build. The Enemy’s are more less able to hit you.

The movement mode can be selected at will. The HIGH LIFT works best for me.

For this Titan Build works either the LIGHTNING GRENADE/PULSE GRENADE  for Crowd Control or the FLASHBANG GRENADE for blinding which can be useful in harder Content.

Synergies with Exotic Armor – Titan Build D2

The Cuirass of the falling Star has very good Synergies with this Titan Build for Destiny 2. Its use is simply explained it almost doubles the damage of the Thundercrash super and one shoots almost everything in the game that is not a raid/dungeon boss.

Mods and Stats – Titan Build D2

For Titans in general, I always recommend going for max resilience and recovery. In the best case 100 recovery 100 resilience 70 intellect and discipline as high as you can get. Why exactly Tier 7 for intellect ?

Up to Tier 7 Intellect you get 23 seconds less cooldown per higher Intellect level. On Tier 8 but only 13 that is then such a small increase that it is almost no longer worth it to pay attention to it.

I strongly recommend to reach tier 7 even if you don’t reach 100 resilience because you can catch a sniper shot much more often without dying. I dislike getting one hit.

  • Recovery Tier 10 Titan Destiny 2
  • Resilience Tier 10 Titan Destiny 2
  • Discipline Tier 7 Pulse Grenade Destiny 2
  • Intellect Tier 7 Thundercrash Destiny 2

To get the Maximum out of this Build and at the same time play the best of the season I recommend the following mods:

Must-Have:

  • Protective Light (Void)
  • Taking Charge
  • Elemental Light
  • Font of Wisdom

Fill Up with:

  • Mobility / Recovery / Resilience Mods to get as near to 100 / 100 / 70 as possible. (I do not recommend using Intellect Mods since they need 5 Energy)
  • Recuperation (Solar Legs)
  • Resistance Mods (Chest)
  • Supercharged (Solar) / Charged Up (Solar)

Playstyle – Titan Build

How the whole thing works is almost self-explanatory. Use your Weapons to defeat smaller Enemies and use your Thundercrash to defeat Champions, mini-Bosses and the like. Note that if you have made a kill with your Super, an Arc Well will be created by Elemental Light that you must collect to benefit from Font of Wisdom to have your next Thundercrash ready even faster.

Recommended Weapons – Titan Build Destiny 2 D2

For our Titan Build Burst Damage you will need Weapons to easily take care of smaller Enemy Hordes since your Super is more of a Single-Target-Burst-Option. It is best to adjust the primary weapon so that you can stun the respective champions in the activity in case of emergency. Specific raid or grandmaster setups can be found here.

The last breath Roll Destiny 2 D2

The Last Breath is my favorite Autorifle and my choice against Barrier Champions.

Accrued Redemption is my primary choice to stun Overload Champions.

The Messenger is a very good option to stun Unstoppable Champions.

Null Composure Fusion Rifle Destiny 2

Null Composure is simply a fantastic all-in-one solution at the moment. With Reservoir Burst, it destroys enemy hordes quickly and ammunition efficiently. With Particle Deconstruction it destroys Majors and generally makes good DPS (Damage per Second).

Gjallarhorn Exotic Weapon Destiny 2 D2

Gjallarhorn makes really good Burst Damage and as long as the ammo is available it can also destroy Enemy Hordes very quickly. Just watch out for the Ammo that is the big weak point.

For all those who use Destiny Item Manager I have put together the Build here in the link.
