Best Abilities for Solar Titan in Destiny 2

In this Titan Build for Destiny 2, we recommend using a combination of Healing Grenade, Rally Barricade, and Throwing Hammer. These abilities will help you not only deal damage but also heal and recover during your gameplay sessions. They are your key tools for success in the game, ensuring you’re well-prepared for whatever challenges come your way.

Synthoceps, when combined with the Solar Titan, become a deadly weapon and are more efficient than most weapons in this game. This is due to the following bonuses: Being within 15 meters of 3+ enemies grants the Biotic Enhancements buff for 8 seconds. The Biotic Enhancements provide the following benefits:

• 200%  Increased Melee Damage.

When combined with the Roaring Flames buff, which increases damage for your solar abilities with each solar ability kill, it becomes incredibly powerful and allows you to quickly take down majors without using any ammunition all you need is your Throwing Hammer. (Charged Melee)

For Titan players, my general recommendation is to prioritize maximum Discipline and Resilience. Ideally, aim for 100 Discipline, 100 Resilience, and 100 Recovery, although reaching this level can be challenging.

Having Resilience at Tier 10 provides a substantial 30% damage reduction, a significant advantage in PvE encounters. Because Resillience is the Titan Class Stat it reduces the Cooldown of your Class Ability which makes it even better to aim for Tier 10 Resilience.

For some Titan Builds which are very Melee focused, it is more worthwhile to go for strength instead of discipline.

To maximize the potential of this Solar Titan Build, I highly recommend the following mods for different gear pieces:

Must-Have:

• Hands-On (helmet / 3 energy)
• Heavy Handed (gauntlets / 3 energy)
• concussive dampener (chest / 3 energy)
• harmonic resistance (chest / 1 energy)
• arc/void resistance (chest / 2 energy)
• recuperation (leg / 1 energy)
• innervation (leg / 1 energy)
• Invigoration (leg / 1 energy)
• One-Two Finisher (class item / 1 energy)

Fill Up with:

Discipline / Resilience Mods to get as near to 100 / 100  as possible.

• heavy ammo finder (helmet / 3 energy)
• heavy ammo scout (helmet / 1 energy)  not needed in solo play
• Distribution (Class Item / 3 energy)

1. Start by defeating smaller enemies with your melee ability to acquire the Roaring Flames buff. If possible, aim to stack this buff up to 3 times by taking down additional smaller foes.
2. Harness the increased Solar ability damage buff and eliminate any Foes in your path.
3. Strategically position yourself near a minimum of 3 enemies to maximize the benefits of the Synthoceps buff when targeting particularly dangerous foes.
4. Defeating enemies with your Throwing Hammer creates Sun Spots that continuously heal you.

Pro Tips: Should you misplace your Hammer and can’t locate it, weaken an enemy with low HP and finish them off with a One-Two finisher to regain your melee ability.

This strategy empowers you with a potent and sustainable Solar-based gameplay experience in Destiny 2.

Due to the Melee-centric focus of our Destiny 2 Solar Warlock build, it’s advantageous to wield weapons that can greatly benefit the team, such as Tractor Cannon. Additionally, weapons with blinding effects, such as certain grenade launchers, can be valuable assets.
